The line of “Holiday” hoodies is inspired by the ceremonial gingerbread of Poltava region — panyanka, which were prepared during the Christmas period. These are painted cut-out delicacies made from unleavened dough and decorated with pink (beetroot juice was used as a dye) and white icing. They were called “panyanka” because they were usually baked in the shape of a girl (as a symbol of the family), but they could also be in the shape of riders, birds, grasshoppers, boots, flowers, stars, etc. Traditionally, godparents gave girls gingerbread in the shape of a lady, and boys — in the shape of a horseman.
The main motif of embroidery on women’s hoodies is the tree of life, which is equivalent to the image of a lady as a symbol of the family. You can also see embroidered patterns in the form of birds, stars, and grasshoppers — the shapes in which Poltava region gingerbread was traditionally made. Spiral and wavy lines, with which skilled craftsmen usually decorated gingerbread, fill the entire embroidery.
A straight-cut hoodie made of insulated knitwear (on fleece) has a convenient pocket and a hood.
A men's and children's model are added to the women's hoodie.
The model is designed in two colors - black and beige.
